UBCI is committed to equip the Body of Christ by assembling volunteers of church leaders and workers with core Christian values for pastoral challenges and leadership tasks through its 12 focal points.
Rev. (Dr) Margaret Modupe Soremekun, the Visionary and President of United Body of Christ International, received the burden to see the Body of Christ as "ONE" in 1990 when she was used to resolve differences between two churches outside Africa.
She finds it divinely convenient to settle problems that had lingered on between Leaders of different denominations that have become a reproach to the name of Jesus and caused shame to Christianity especially the ones that had degenerated to lawsuits (Col 3:13-17).
Highly respected by Leaders of faith world wide, she is favoured by many through the grace of God and by the help of the Holy Spirit and the divine anointing in her life. She operates conveniently in the Apostolic, Prophetic and Teaching offices where she is recognized by Emperors, Kings and Presidents of many nations.
Rev. Dr. Margaret Modupe Soremekun was used to establish the Working Word of God Ministry of which she is the Senior Pastor. The Lord ministered to her to focus more on Unity, Benevolence act and Reconciliation of man back to God through mission works and evangelism.
At a time in her walk with God, she reached a desperate point where she submitted all her successful businesses as our modern day 'Lydia of Philippi' and recommitted her life totally to the 'Macedonian Kingdom' Call.
Educated with a first degree in Librarianship, second degree in Interior Architecture, and a Doctorate degree in Theology, she is a conference Speaker across Nations. A great Preacher of the Living Word with proven integrity and character, she is very resourceful, totally committed in the Lord as an intercessor, a burden bearer, She is married with four children and grand children.

God is not impressed with externals. He always focuses on the inward qualities that leaders need to excel. God is looking for men and women who will yield to His purposes and seize the day for His glory. He calls us "His Workmanship" Eph 2:10. He is hammering, filing, chiseling and shaping us! The UBCI includes the shaping process: Diligence, Faith, Moral excellence, Knowledge, Self control, Perseverance, Godliness, Kindness and Love (2 Pet. 1: 5-7). In a word…….CHARACTER.
Character qualities in His children, which is God's relentless quest and He will not quit until He completes His checklist. You may feel unqualified, uneducated, untrained, ungifted or even unworthy. The UBCI regards these also as excellent qualifications for God to do a mighty work in yielded Vessels of honour. Nobody is useless before God if we believe in Him, we trust you can become a mighty tool in His hands.....an instrument of His purpose, a person with strength of character. God is more concerned about our integrity than our comfort. His goal is not to over indulge us physically but to perfect us spiritually.
